Blue Thunder Diving & Survival Center LTD was established in 1990 and running to this day, it is a family business, dedicated to all the people who have a passion for recreational diving as well as other underwater activities! Located at Griva Digeni 110 in Limassol, Cyprus, we are the distributors of the Italian brand Seac, the German brand Polaris, the American brand Amphibious Outfitters, and we are also authorized dealers of TecLine, Shearwater and GoXtreme. We also provide services for your diving equipment, visual inspection and hydrostatic tests for your cylinders.

Dive Center

Our store is subdivided to a Naui Platinum Pro Diving Center named Pro Dive which is the oldest active diving school in Limassol , owning a 10m custom-made aluminum boat specifically designed for Scuba Diving purposes. We have been in the diving business for many years now to know that safety is the top priority, and to achieve that our diving equipment used for lessons and activities is being replaced with new gear every two years. Our very skillful staff will provide you with the right knowledge and guidance for your scuba diving experiences.

ISO 24803 Certification

We are proud to be the first diving center in Limassol certified under ISO 24803, the international standard for recreational scuba diving service providers. This certification confirms our compliance with the highest standards in training, equipment, safety, and customer care.

Michael is the founder and owner of Blue Thunder Diving & Survival Center LTD, a company he established in 1990. With over three decades of experience in the diving industry, Michael has been teaching Scuba Diving since 1993 and has developed a specialization in Technical Diving since 1999. In 1994, he became a Lifetime Member of NAUI, demonstrating his long-term dedication to the diving community. In 2003, he became a seasoned Inspiration CCR (Closed Circuit Rebreather) Diver, further enhancing his expertise in the field. Under his leadership, Blue Thunder Diving has become a premier destination for both recreational and technical divers, offering expert training and unforgettable underwater experiences for divers of all levels.

Instructor Trainer - Technical Diving Instructor - First Aid Instructor

Lefkios has been an essential member of Blue Thunder Diving since 2016, bringing with him several years of diving expertise. He developed a passion for the underwater world from a young age and began his diving journey early on. Lefkios became a Scuba Diving Instructor in 2016 and earned his Technical Diving Instructor certification in 2018. In 2024, he obtained his First Aid Instructor credentials and achieved the prestigious Instructor Trainer designation, underscoring his commitment to diving education and safety. In addition to his instructional roles, Lefkios is also a certified scuba technician and cylinder inspector.

Andreas is a dedicated scuba diving instructor whose passion for the ocean fuels his teaching and exploration. Having started diving at a young age, Andreas developed a deep connection to the underwater world early on. He became a scuba diving instructor in 2016 and earned his Technical Diving Instructor certification in 2018. In 2024, he achieved both First Aid Instructor credentials and the prestigious Instructor Trainer designation. In addition to teaching, Andreas actively promotes marine conservation by organizing Underwater Clean Ups to protect fragile ecosystems. His commitment to environmental sustainability inspires students to engage in conservation efforts, fostering a deeper appreciation for the ocean's wonders.

Froso has been exploring underwater realms since 2014, when she first started scuba diving at Blue Thunder Diving. She earned her Divemaster certification in 2020 and became a diving instructor in 2024. With a strong background in photography, Froso has developed a keen interest in underwater photography and cinematography, capturing and sharing the stunning beauty of marine life with others. Passionate about her students' progress and safety, she is dedicated to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone she teaches, guiding them to feel comfortable and secure in the water.

Antonia joined Blue Thunder Diving with a deep passion for the ocean and a strong commitment to diver education. She earned her Divemaster certification in 2020 and became a Scuba Diving Instructor in 2024. Antonia is known for her calm, supportive teaching style, making her especially effective at helping new divers feel at ease. An avid underwater photographer, she shares her love for marine life and ethical diving practices with every student, inspiring them to explore the underwater world responsibly and with enthusiasm.

Prodive III

Pro Dive III is our latest scuba diving boat, custom-built and manufactured in France in 2016. With its one-of-a-kind aluminium hull this boat sails in the open sea as smooth and as pleasant as it gets. She is a 10 metre long and 3,5 metre wide boat, with a capacity of 20 persons.

She has two commercial outboard Mercury 150hp engines providing more than enough power, to get to the dive sites as fast and safely as possible. Having four exits into the water and plenty of space to rest during your surface intervals, our boat will make your scuba diving experience unforgettable!
