History of Lady Thetis

Originally a private passenger vessel, Lady Thetis was used for leisurely cruises along the Limassol coastline. In a move to enhance marine biodiversity, she was donated and purposefully sunk on February 22nd, 2014, approximately 1 km off the coast within the Dasoudi Marine Protected Area.

Resting upright on the seabed, Lady Thetis stretches 30 meters in length, with the first deck beginning at 12 meters and reaching a maximum depth of 18 meters. Easily accessed by boat in under 5 minutes from our base, she has since evolved into a thriving artificial reef, supporting a rich array of marine life.

Today, Lady Thetis is a popular training site, particularly well-suited for entry-level divers. It is commonly used for the final dive of the Scuba Diver Course.
