History of MV Elpida

The MV Elpida is a commercial vessel from Greece that was deliberately sunk in December 2019 off the coast of Vorkolini, Cyprus. This wreck lies in an upright position at a depth ranging from 10 meters at the masts down to a maximum depth of 28 meters.

Measuring 63 meters in length, the Elpida now serves as an artificial reef, providing a rich habitat for a variety of marine life.
